PRO blades vs the JNR blade

PRO blades fit the Gyro-Cut PRO only. The JNR uses its own JNR blade. If you mostly cut paper, journals and cards, the blade that comes with your tool is all you need.

Standard 15°: paper and card

The everyday blade, already fitted in every PRO. Use it for paper, cardstock, vinyl and acetate: journals, cards, stencils, scrapbooking.

Medium Cut 30°: fabric and felt

A tungsten carbide blade for thin to medium fabric, felt, thin leather and balsa. Great for appliqué and felt projects.

Deep Cut 45°: thick fabric and foam

For thick fabric, felt up to about 3 mm (1/8") and foam.

Extreme-Cut 60°: leather and mat board

The steepest angle, for felt thicker than 3 mm, leather and mat board.

The easy way to get three blades

The Gyro-Cut PRO Kit comes with the PRO and the Standard, Medium Cut and Deep Cut blades, ready for paper, cardstock, fabric and felt from day one.

How to change a blade

Grip the old blade with small pliers while holding the plastic carrier, and pull it out. Use the pliers to place the new blade, then push down gently on the tool to seat it. The instructions in the box show each step, and our how-to videos show it in real time. Keep the cap on blades you are not using.
